I would like to say welcome. I recently switched to the mac and am
also a guitar player and compose music. I use my mac to do all
functions from recording to editing and once past the learning curve
of learning the way of the apple you will never go back to the pc
windows based computer. It took me some time and great frustration to
learn the mac but in the long run, about 6 months, will never go back
to the windows side of the computer....and I grew up using a windows
computer as I have only been blind for one and a half years.

P.S. and I wish we had access to Logic, Protools, and a notation
program like Sibelius or Finale. Those sorts of things are what keep
me tied to the PC and Windows, since I'm a musician and guitar
teacher.
