Hi,
On Windows disks, yeah right, of course you can't. I just spent an
hour installing Virtualbox's Windows. Actually I am happy with the way
Windows works under Virtualbox. That is to say, I am happy with the
keyboard mapping not being messed up, however I still hate the Windows
OS.

Hello guys,
I purchased my first Mac in September of 2005. My family and I now
have several Macs.
I have been so pleased with VoiceOver, even though I know that it is
still evolving.
I use Linux as well.
But I am really looking forward to SnowLeopard when it's released.
Any way, just wanted to chime in with my thoughts on VO.
Oh yes! You can also run VO from the installation DVD and have
speech for using utilities from the DVD or for reinstalling the OS.
Cant do that on Windows install CDs, at least as far as I know.

april when I did!! there are still the few odd things I want my pc
around for, but they're getting fewer and further between!! I love
my mac and just using a pc makes me sad now lol.
I'm glad you're enjoying it too!!

Dear Vicky,
I loved that you replied to my message! The more people who know
how great Voiceover is to use the better. I hope you have a great
day.

Dear Chriss,
My name is Ben King and I switched to Voiceover from my PC five
months ago. I love it! You will love your parents Apple! It
is a blast to use a screen-reader that you can turn on in a
flash. What screen-reader do you use with your PC? You will
end-up switching to Mac when you find out how easy Voiceover is
to use. Have a great day.

I'm mostly a PC user, but since my parents just got a Mac Mini,
I'm definitely going to explore it and VoiceOver. Is this the
main area online for VoiceOver discussions, or is there another
more active mailing list, Web forum, etc. that I should be on?
thanks
Chris
P.S. and I wish we had access to Logic, Protools, and a
notation program like Sibelius or Finale. Those sorts of things
are what keep me tied to the PC and Windows, since I'm a
musician and guitar teacher.
