The /filename/ belongs in the title bar. The present "kewl" feature accomplishes nothing but to drive the user slowly mad when working on two documents with the same title.

The same could be said for a user with two files with the same name.

I have about 30 files called test.sxw, but each is in a different folder with a different title. So, now I am confused.

It must be nice to be in the majority class here that all the changes that are dumbing down OOo are going in your favor. Thus far the impression I get from you Chad is that everyone should have work habits like yours and if not then the features they like are stupid and useless and should go.

Think for a minute if OOo only showed the title, or only restored the cursor position, then what would you be doing?
