I hope you don't think I was trying to cast _blame_ on the Hungarians.
I was just trying to point out what appeared to be the origin of the name.
I presumed that it had been commenced for the purpose of enabling the requirements of the Hungarian language and this is evident from László Németh's name on the sourceforge page.

Sorry for stating the bleeding obvious, but the name "Hun" for German has very negative connotations and it appears that Jaques thought that "hun-spell" was a specifically German spellchecker.
