Which is one reason why MS boosters worked so hard to force MS Exchange
into institutions.
However, one thing I am noticing is that sites moving to or expanding
FLOSS are trying to keep a low profile until they get into a position to
tell MS to shove off.
MS Exchange will be a problem for us in that it ties users to MS Outlook
and MS Outlook will soon be used as a vector to spread MOOX[1], unless
we figure a way around that.

[1] IIRC, in the near future, MS Outlook will stop using it's special
variant of HTML and start forcing messages into MOOX.
I am hoping that this project can open up other applications when the
pro-Outlook people do what ever they can to get people to drop
Thunderbird or other mail apps.

A change in format could well kill email for non-windows users in our
organization.
