It's not perfect, it seems. I have tried to open OOo docs with MS Word. Still, a little adjustment on the margins and what have you... fine and dandy. And now OOo 3.1 is past its developer's release stage and is on Release Candidate 1, Build 9396. I've been using it for several builds now, and for most users it appears quite stable. The MS Windows version, at least. I would assume similar results for other versions. While I would love to see compatibility with MS Publisher, I guess that's not in the near future.
