Not exactly, it’s more on the line of searching the post office database. Take for example if you’re a company that have to mail information to individuals but from time to time people don’t fill in their address correctly and leave off the zip code or something, well the post office has a national database that allows you to send a XML request that fills in the missing ZIP or it may correct LN to Lane.

Are you trying to get the lat /long for zip codes? I found a free db i imported into sql server that did that part. If that is what you are looking for.

Address Standardization and Zip code looks up currently accomplished by
using a HTTP Connection DLL acquired from USPS, in my case they sent me a
tracking.dll. Curious to know has anyone else been involved with the postal
service in requesting address and zip code lookups, because the technical
guide uses ASP, VB and WinLnet DLL samples for XML request and response.

I'm thinking that the DLL should have been verify.dll or something else or
could it be that the tracking.dll works for address and zip code lookups as
well. I'm still awaiting a reply from their tech support, but any help with
this subject would be great.
