Charlie, thanks for the URL but I already have authorization from the USPS,
it's just that after getting deeper into the documentation and the kit that
they send you, you realize that the solution is for ASP or VB. I hope that
makes a little more sense.

It's not clear from your note: have you tried their web service?

http://www.usps.com/webtools/

I'll admit it's been a while since I last looked into it. Hope that's
helpful.

Subject: [ACFUG Discuss] United States Postal Service APIs

Address Standardization and Zip code looks up currently accomplished by
using a HTTP Connection DLL acquired from USPS, in my case they sent me a
tracking.dll. Curious to know has anyone else been involved with the postal
service in requesting address and zip code lookups, because the technical
guide uses ASP, VB and WinLnet DLL samples for XML request and response.

I'm thinking that the DLL should have been verify.dll or something else or
could it be that the tracking.dll works for address and zip code lookups as
well. I'm still awaiting a reply from their tech support, but any help with
this subject would be great.

Tony
