Given that Adobe "recommend"[1] using Flex Builder 3 to build AIR
applications but say it is possible to "reuse existing Flex 2 code"
in an AIR app,
my question is: Is it possible to create an AIR application without
having to install Flex Builder 3?
If so, how?
I've looked for an example where this is possible, but everything
I've found is either frustratingly inaccurate [3] or sadly out-dated [4]
I really do hope I don't have to install FB 3 because my company is
building an application in FB 2 that doesn't build right in FB 3. It
would be a HUGE pain to have to uninstall FB 2, install FB 3,
uninstall FB 3, then reinstall FB 2 every time I just want to test to
see if something is possible with AIR.
Thanks!
