I have a very small computer business as a diversification from the farm business, and only have one client that is running SME server (3 users). They are my only client who has any sort of file server, full stop. I will shortly be putting SME into a second company, who has a dozen users, and no IT staff. Looking forward to what both companies are likely to ask for as regards functionality in the future, then a shared calendar (Sogo perhaps) and possibly OwnCloud type functionality would be top of my list. I know there are contribs that cover these areas, and I intend to have a look at them. Secure VPN access to the network may also be something I'll be asked for, but probably not for a while. The ability to host mediawiki internally is, again, something that may appear but is certainly not near the top of the list.
I also run SME myself as a home/business server, and for this market the ability to stream music or video would be more useful. Again, I've had no demand for this, but it is something I am expecting to be asked about at some point.
