Well I've surely been around this forum too much and too long, but I can't believe I never heard of DirectPlaybookPDF. I know of the catalogue application for windows (don't remember its name), but being for Windows I never cared. DirectPlaybookPDF adapted to a smartphone with camera that could be fantastic! (and of course it has the codes for system administration, perfect!) My parents would use a paper catalog. Leaving the book on the table would be also a great for invitations. (But, urghÂ… I have painful memory of my XSLT days generating FO and PDF. The ODF path might be more comfortable, given the UI before final print ?) I am sort of put off by the price of RFID tags. 99cts apiece is not reasonable IMHO.
