Just to weigh in with the voice of another core dev, so that Jacob isn't out on a limb by himself: I think Jacob has been _extraordinarily_ polite, considering some of the comments you have made. If you have a _specific_ proposal for fixing some _specific_ problem, either in code or in process, you should feel free to make that suggestion. We're always open to suggestions and improvements. What we're not open to is being asked to defend the amount of time we _volunteer_, or explain why we haven't made 'sufficient' progress, or responding to any other ultimatum. If you want progress to be faster, pitch in, don't bitch in. The one specific proposal you have made - 'add more committers/triagers', _has_ been addressed. If it wasn't already obvious from historical discussions, Jacob has told you how we select core developers, and why we haven't added more. We will give commit access to anyone with a proven record. We aren't going to 'just add 5 committers' because quality is more important than quantity. I don't know if you were fishing for commit access for yourself, but if you were: I'm sorry to inform you that you don't have a proven record, and this thread hasn't aided your attempts in the slightest. And with that, I will assume the same posture as Jacob with respect to this discussion.
