Hi all, Here a minor status update regarding the pull request, and a huge request.
I believe the pull request is feature complete. Marten Kenbeek has proposed some changes to the code which I have accepted and merged into the original pull request. The pull request itself can be found at https://github.com/django/django/pull/7482 However, and here comes the huge request: the pull request needs a review from someone with the authority to merge it into the django/django github repository. Since the Django 2.0 feature freeze is coming soon, it would be greatly beneficial if that review could happen on short notice. If any concerns arise, I hope to be able to resolve those before the freeze, but that does depend on when the concerns are being raised. Yes, I know this is a big ask, but I would greatly appreciate any and all effort made to push this feature to the finish.
