Nice to see how quickly that went from "there's no way..." to "how about this?" If anybody is curious to see how I've done it in my custom mailing list manager, drop me a line and I'll subscribe you to my test list. It's not really useful code to repurpose, but it might give you an idea of what you could do yourself.
