Except, if the receiver MTA does not find a domain in the From: it may reject 
the message or consider it SPAM by default… because it is a know workaround 
DMARC, and this format is not RFC compliant (even in IEA mode it is 
discouraged).

It may fix the immediate problem, but I don’t see that as a long term solution.
