Oh! I noted the manpages were authored by you, but I did not investigate you're 
much more than the manpage author - nice. 
Then, even more thanks for noticing my issue on the dnsmasq-discuss list here 
and taking care of it at the more correct place :-).

I know. Sadly, the most widespread distros (Debian, Ubuntu, RHEL, CentOS) have 
adoped dhclient (via NetworkManager) or systemd-networkd by default,
even though I'm not convinced this is a good move, but I won't enter 
philosophical discussions with them (with Gentoo, I can easily choose myself 
;-) ).
