Additional update: I have cut down "Introducing Base" and rewrote the Report section. It is located here: http://www.odfauthors.org/libreoffice/english/base-guide/draft-lo3.4/introducing-base-1/view . I'm going to look at Helen's cut down of the Getting Started with Base chapter.
