After changing the crank sensor last night and cam sensor this am
and still getting the same codes I finally gave up. I called the
shop that put the last cam sensor on but the tech was a jerk and was
no help. He half assed the wiring job so I didn't want his advice
anyway. I had someone come out to check the timing belt. Belt was
fine and was replaced May 2005. After 3 hours, he found the back of
the left sprocket was broke off, it's the part that the cam sensor
looks down on. It clipped back on and started right up, only
problem is it can come back off anytime. I'm thinking the jerk who
half assed the wires probably just clipped it on so the car would
start and they could get rid of it. Having the sprocket, belt and
water pump replaced tomorrow. It's going to cost about $340, so I
guess thats ok? I didn't want to pay someone but I don't need to
have another stall in rush hour on the highway either. I paid $1900
for the car, did I get ripped? I've always bought new cars and
traded them within a few years so never had many repais other than
normal maintenance. My car should be up and running tomorrow. It's
probably overdue for a fuel pump so I'm sure that will be next.
Thanks everyone for your help, now I just need some reassurance that
I didn't make a mistake with this buy.

Thanks Again...Nicole

ya got if it doesnt cost to much because on average it is 300 a
month car note and extra 100 for insurance so if ya dont put 400 in
it every month u are ahead
