If the body and interior are in good shape I think that $1900 is not too bad. I also agree with speedracer - cars cost lots of money. I believe in buying used but one must be prepared for the upkeep. New cars cost money in the depreciation and the extra insurance, and the interest on the loan and that easily adds up to hundreds per month. But.... you get to drive a new car.... The intrepid, with some maintenance will last you a few years without major problems. Transmissions seem to be one of the week points and if you do a search you will get lots of postings on that issue. I believe the 3.5 is a good engine. Good luck and keep posting.
