Interior is in excellent condition, body has a couple dings and the rest is all
cosmetic, like the paint on the roof (which I am too short to really see so it
doesn't bug me too much) and the black stuff on the mirrors and doors is coming
off. It drives good though. I'm just use to spoiling myself as far as cars go
so I have to get over that. The Intrepid does have a little over 165,000 miles
though.

If the body and interior are in good shape I think that $1900 is not
too bad. I also agree with speedracer - cars cost lots of money. I
believe in buying used but one must be prepared for the upkeep. New
cars cost money in the depreciation and the extra insurance, and the
interest on the loan and that easily adds up to hundreds per month.
But.... you get to drive a new car.... The intrepid, with some
maintenance will last you a few years without major problems.
Transmissions seem to be one of the week points and if you do a
search you will get lots of postings on that issue. I believe the
  3.5 is a good engine.
  Good luck and keep posting.
