well kev the remote lost programming
  this happens once in a while don't frett
  all you have to do (with the vehicle in range) is hold down the lock and
unlock button on the remote simontaniously for five seconds and it should
reprogram the remote to your vehicle unless of course the battery is dead

  and for you havin problems with unlocking the drivers side door could be 1 of
2 things
  the door strike.........or the door latch needs replacing
  there is a switch in the latch that controls the dome light and in return
triggers the alarm system.................

  good luck.

          Hi everyone,

Since I've had my Intrepid I've had to unlock the car doors from the passenger
side and
then I could open my driver's side door without the alarm going off. Each time
I try and
unlock the doors from the driver's side the alarm immediately goes off. I'm
using only a
key the keyless entry buttons never worked. Any ideas?

Kevin
