Speaking of the engine cradle crossmember being right below the oil filter on the 1st Gen, anyone found a *good* way of handling its removal so you don't end up with oil every-freaking-where? I just try to lessen the damage, but always end up with oil running everywhere.
Only one I've seen worse so far is on a 1988 Jaguar XJ6; the filter is up in the middle of the engine and you cannot avoid getting oil everywhere, especially on the exhaust manifold, which means you get all sorts of funky smoke afterwards. Yes, IIRC above and slightly forward of the oil filter. > It's an enormous PITA! -- PhilosYphia: http://www.nathanpralle.com/blog/ Web: <http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dodge_intrepid> Subscribe: <mailto://[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Unsubscribe: <mailto://[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Moderator: <mailto://[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Yahoo!
