G'day everyone. The prop on GJD runs out of hours at end of July.
I've spoken with Tom Gilbert (he does the Form 2's) and he suggests we remove it ourselves and send it off to the propellor people. Q1: Who are the propellor people? Does anyone have a name/address/email etc. they might be able to share? Q2: I don't have a Form 2 rating (just DI), but one of my friends at Leeton (Al) does. Is this enough quals to legally remove the prop, and more importantly, put it back on when I get it back? Q3: Assuming it is ok for us to remove/re-install at Leeton, does anyone have a manual or procedure for same? I'm assuming that there'd have to be some sort of checklist to follow to do the work properly. Can anyone help me out with that? Thanks in advance. John Mason - Leeton
