It would seem that the FMS software keeps working on my car navigator past the 30 day trial period because the unit keeps resetting the date to 1/1/2006 every time I turn it on. It probably has a flat BIOS battery. Most car navigators run on Windows CE and I believe there is free gliding software out there somewhere in cyberspace. If anyone wants to know how to get other software working on a car navigator let me know what type you have and I can give you details Rob
