The great planes heads may need machining to match the Limbach. Also there
is, a, Limbach SB re matching heads to cylinders. About 20 years, ago
Limbach introduced marks on cylinders, and heads and you need to look at
char to check what goes, with what.

Personally I would give sr no of engine to Limbach and they will make up a
dual port head and more recently they have improved the underside of thrir
heads and a little more metal. Yes will cost more. The coils are as used
on Honda, Gull Wing motorbike from guess 80s.

I do know of a, L2400 engine that got Sauer to make special heads for the
Limbach as Sauer had much more finning on heads, than Lim ach were using.
The engine ran for 10 to 12years, perfectly but then they were
"discovered" and owner was grounded for think 18 months. . The owner got
Mike Byrne's to to the EO to fit the heads and is all legal.
