We got told the same down here in Weymouth, but that was quite some
time ago. It seems way down south, we're not important enough to get
it.
There was a drive on Portland not too long ago to try to make it
attractive for 'business' purposes that should have made fibre and
such reach us sooner, but no one ever found out what became of it.

Five to nine show up here, and an additional two that interestingly,
only Linux seem to be able to pick up. Most encrypted as well.
But this is why I prefer to stick to a hard line, and use wireless
only to connect to a trusted router (mine). The rest always goes
through the good old telling-bone tubes.
