I agree with Sean.  If it's a new install and you only then do `apt-get
install' then I don't think you should be left with dependency problems,
unless there are bugs in the packages themselves, which very
occasionally happens for the more obscure ones.

It seems most likely to me that you're mis-interpreting whatever bit of
aptitude is telling you of these problems and there really aren't any.
