I have Firefox 34.0 installed here and it doesn't have Hello. Also, I've just followed the Download link on that page and got 'firefox-35.0b1.tar.bz2'. > > I think that my mother would struggle with joining a discussion in > > 'Hangouts' or 'Hello', let alone initiating one! > > AIUI you say you want to start one in your Firefox, it gives you a URL, > your mum opens the email you send her and opens the link, hoping that > Firefox gets the work. Yes. That's as I understand it too. The trouble is that we'd either have to prearrange the call some time ahead or Mum would have to be continuously monitoring her email and respond straight away. I on the other hand, would have no idea if Mum is online at the time; both Skype and Tox provide that facility. All we have to do is have the client running in the tray. -- Terry Coles -- Next meeting: Bournemouth, Tuesday, 2015-01-06 20:00 Meets, Mailing list, IRC, LinkedIn, ... http://dorset.lug.org.uk/ New thread on mailing list: mailto:dorset@mailman.lug.org.uk How to Report Bugs Effectively: http://goo.gl/4Xue
