I tried using a much simplified page based on this, but it made both the Splash Page and the Home Page oversized. A copy of my current splash.html may be found at: http://www.hadrian-way.co.uk/Misc/Pi_Router/ This page fills the screen correctly and centres the text and objects the way that I want them.
