you must be right, all devices can now work with all partition table
types because magic.
It's not magic; it's standards. You seem to have missed my point. I
never said or implied that all devices can now work with all partition
table types because magic.
I simply said that anyone buying a USB stick would expect it to be
capable of working in a PC or player because (for example, Windows only
works with FAT 32 or efat).
