Without seeing what was attempted, and what happened, it's hard to
suggest more. Here's it working for me. I've renamed my files to
uppercase because that's what you've got.
$ ls *.HEIC
A.HEIC B.HEIC C.HEIC
$
$ file *.HEIC
A.HEIC: ISO Media, HEIF Image HEVC Main or Main Still Picture Profile
B.HEIC: ISO Media, HEIF Image HEVC Main or Main Still Picture Profile
C.HEIC: ISO Media, HEIF Image HEVC Main or Main Still Picture Profile
$
$ gm mogrify -format jpeg *.HEIC
$
$ ls
A.HEIC A.jpeg B.HEIC B.jpeg C.HEIC C.jpeg
$
The ‘gm’ command took a little while, but is silent on success as seen
above. The ‘file’ command isn't necessary, it's just showing some
confidence in what's in the files.
