I was looking at 36"-ish TV a couple of weeks back on Amazon, I was
looking at cheap no-name manufacturers and many of them do not mention
having AI (that is not to say they don't). I think this is where you may
find what you are looking for but it will not be a high street brand.

We need a new TV for the bedroom. Our previous setup has been a
Samsung 22" wall-mounted screen with a Roku box for Internet Apps.
Recently the TV has developed an annoying flashing problem and the
Roku only partially works; hence the desire for a replacement. This
setup is at least 5-10 years old.
The ideal spec is for a Smart TV, but my wife has found that modern
TVs all come with AI built in an she is very suspicious of AI in all
its forms. Google confirms that none of the top-of the range
manufacturers offer a TV without AI, but alleges that functionality is
limited to controlling screen settings to prevent smearing etc.
However that information is generated by AI :-) I am less paranoid,
but my experiences with the lies spewed out by Google AI have not
enthused me to buy anything with uncontrollable AI in it.
Does anyone have any thoughts? Ideas?
