That's what the Program Guide is for. I simply pick my favourite
programs from the Guide and mark them for recording. Later, I view
them in my own time, fast-forwarding over the ad breaks. I very
rarely watch a program contemporaneously.
Us too. Unfortunately our Ancient Humax 9500T always starts programs 2
minutes in now, and after stopping it always come back some time moved
on. And as Terry knows, you Fast Forward over the ads.
I have put aside a Pi 3 in an old Humax case which provides 12 and 5
volts, and a Hard disk, that one day I'll fix up with LibreElec. HAve to
figure out how to get programs other than from the Internet over wifi,
and how to push them to the TV.
Another project in waiting....
