As it happens the master bedroom has a similar setup with a Samsung
S27AM50 Smart Monitor and a Humax Aura PVR. If need be we could hook
the monitor up to a Pi, but until the Governments threat to shut down
Freeview comes to pass, we'll stick with this setup so that we can
record live TV.

streaming devices as an alternative, and says the Pi may be useful
