well, if your web site is well constructed then you don't need to change the
whole page, just a part of it and that is the best thing for ajax.
If you want to make it your way (other directories, remapping virtual
directory, etc), of course you can, maybe you can also upload it into the
same directory, but under other name and then just rename it.
