Hello there! I've just proposed for publication an article which may be subject to controversy or praises: why using DoudouLinux? You can read the English version:
http://www.doudoulinux.org/web/ecrire/?exec=articles&id_article=216 or the French one at your convenience: http://www.doudoulinux.org/web/ecrire/?exec=articles&id_article=53 This is a kind of advocacy of both DDL and free software along with philosophical notes about the role of computers in our modern world. I decided to write it after reading some comments on the web about the danger of computers for children or… the need to put them on Windows® instead :(. I can already tell you that you may not agree with all what I wrote because I'm very suspicious about any kind of concentration of powers – and this may not be your case. However I'm open to discussion so please feel free to comment. To tell the truth it took me several months to write the French version of this article and several weeks to translate it into English. Honestly I consider it as a difficult article in which the meaning of each word is important. So I ask you to read it and warn about anything that would remain unclear. This is essential for the translation work that the English be correct and still easy to understand. Of course proofreading of my English is welcomed! ;) Have a good reading! Cheers, JM. _______________________________________________ Doudoulinux-dev mailing list [email protected] https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/doudoulinux-dev
