** 2. Persistencia de datos **

El principal inconveniente de un sistema como DoudouLinux cuyo medio
físico es un CDROM es que toda modificación de datos hecha durante la
sesión se pierde al apagar el sistema. Esto aplica tanto a los datos de
usuario, su trabajo, como a los datos de sistema. Conscientes de estas
limitaciones, los programadores de estos sistemas crearon la herramienta
“Live CD” para asegurar la persistencia de datos al apagar el
ordenador. Obviamente, dispositivos de almacenamiento extraíble como
llaves USB (...)

** 3. Ce este nou în ultima versiune? **

Ultima versiune a fost publicată în prima parte a lunii iunie 2011.
Numele său este DoudouLinux Gondwana și este prima versiune stabilă a
sistemului DoudouLinux (versiunea 1.0). Este disponibilă pentru
descărcare ca fișier imagine CDROM gata de scris pe CD ca fișier ISO –
nu ca fișier de date, sau ca fișier imagine USB, care are nevoie de un
utilitar dedicat pentru crearea unui stick USB de pe care să porniți
calculatorul. Această versiune este lansată oficial în 15 limbi: arabă,
chineză, engleză, (...)

** 7. Utilizarea rețelei **

DoudouLinux poate administra atât rețele cu fir, cât și rețele fără
fir. Ca de obicei, va pune cât mai puține întrebări. Dacă utilizați o
rețea cu fir, aceasta va fi configurată automat, fără nicio întrebare.
Dacă doriți să vă conectați la o rețea fără fir, s-ar putea să
apară solicitarea parolei de acces la rețea. Imediat ar trebui să
puteți naviga pe Internet. Asta-i tot! Note: Numai cea mai avansată
activitate, Întregul DoudouLinux, are dreptul de a se conecta la rețea.
Nu veți putea utiliza nicio rețea în afara (...)

** 1. Control parental **

Desde la versión 2010-11 DoudouLinux provee de una herramienta de control
parental cuyo papel es el de brindar a los padres aún una mayor seguridad.
Por el momento está compuesto únicamente por un filtro inteligente de
acceso a páginas web. Creemos que es lo mínimo que debemos proveer en un
entorno dedicado a los niños mientras aguardamos la primera versión
estable oficial. Una vez que llegue, nuestro plan es ofrecer herramientas
opcionales para limitar las horas del día en las que se puede usar (...)

** 3. What's new in the latest release? **

The latest release was published in early June 2011. Its name is
DoudouLinux Gondwana and this is the first official, stable release of
DoudouLinux (version 1.0). It is available for download as a CDROM image
file ready to be burnt as an ISO file – not a data file, or as an USB key
image file that requires special tools to make a key able to start a
computer. This release is officially supporting 15 languages: Arabic,
Chinese, Dutch, English, French, Greek, Italian, Persian, Polish, (...)

** 7. Using networking **

DoudouLinux can handle both wired and wireless networks. As usual, it will
ask as few questions as possible. If you are using a wired network, it will
configure the network automatically, without asking anything. If you are
trying to connect to a wireless network, it may ask you for a password to
access the network. You should then be able to surf the web. That’s all!
Notes: Only the most advanced activity Whole DoudouLinux has the right to

названием Gondwana, увидит свет в конце мая
(или начале июня, в зависимости от наших
стараний :) ). Эту версию отличают
значительные улучшения: добавлены новые
программы - Songwrite2 (музыкальный редактор и
проигрыватель) и Stopmotion (создание
анимационных роликов из серии
фотографий) (...)
