Hi Véro!

Yes I'm French but on our public lists we have to keep speaking English because
our community is really international :). On IRC we allow us to speak French
when we see that there are only French speaking people online.

Welcome on board! As the CD is already well translated into Dutch, it seems
better to take care of the website first, as you're suggesting. I need to
create you an account on Spip, our online editing tool. I'll send you a private
email. Note that you can ask Xavier to proofread your translated articles
before publication.

I propose you start by translating the key pages of our website (maybe 5-10
pages). Then you can go to Transifex. As said before I'll change all the
resources on Transifex in March. To avoid you to rework the resources you've
just translated, it seems better to wait for the switch.

Which version did you install? Gondwana or the development one? The official
Gondwana is supposed to have reached 100% translation for French while the
development version is lacking lots of translations, whatever the language.

So do we! We are currently nearly all benevolent in this project and working
during our free time (I have 3 children ;) ). The only exception is the Tomsk
university (Russia) which is supporting our project mainly for translating and
testing during their working hours.

Cheers,
JM.
