Paul,    I made mine from what looks like #13 Copperclad steel wire.  Total length = 4.5 in.    There are 4 bends, all right angled.       /-------------------\  <------->          0    |                   |      |              | side    |  (front view)     |     1/2 in.         | view    |                   |      |              |    0                   0  <--- --->      ----/      <-- 2 3/4 in ------->              --> 3/8 <--      /-------------------\  <---    |                   |      |    |   (top view)     |     3/8 in    |                   |      |                           <---    Match the 2 3/4 in. dimension with the actual hole spacing of the boards.  The wire really needs to be stiff, maybe from a heavy duty coat hanger.  If you can bend it with a pliers, vice grip, etc., it's not heavy enough.  Use a vise and a hammer.  8-)    Someone else may have a better suggestion.   Joe, K9HDE   PS  My experience is that rocking the board back and forth (left/right) works better that trying to pull the board directly (up) out of the TR-7.
