[drakelist] Help concerning SW-4A

Hi Gang,   First excuse me for my very bad English, but French is my mother language. I am living in Brussels-Belgium     Yesterday I fire up a very nice SW-4A   After cleaning wafers all was ok, except  that when  tune correctly the PTO on a station and the pre selector for the most S reading, the sound was very distorded. When I detuned the pre selector, the S meter was little, but the sound was no more distorded.   Today, I power up my SW-4A and the S meter stay on S9 and I cannot copy any station. Do you have a Idea. I don’t have spare tubes, so if you think it is a tube, I will buy one… But did you already had this problem ?   I think about a bad V3 – 2d mixer/ 12BE6 because I don’t have the right voltage on pin 7   Any Idea ?   Thank you and best regards,   JM CHERRY http://www.dproducts.be/drake_Museum
