Should work fine.  Follow the Drake instructions for tuning it up, watch the grid current, and don't try to drive the pants off ot it.

Hello to the group.  Does anyone see a reason why the Drake L7 Amplifier would not play well with an Icom 756 Pro 2.  Are there issues with keying voltage relays or will I be just fine.
 
Thoughts would be appreciated.
