One word makes all the difference!  On the sentence below it should read “It can’t handle anywhere near the current that Icom states in the manual.   Steve, N0CZV     The biggest issue is the relay in the Pro II.  It handle anywhere near the current that Icom states in the manual.  There is a device out there called the Ampkeyer – an interface between the amp and the radio – this will protect the radio…..  check www.theheathkitshop.com   Steve, N0CZV     Hello to the group.  Does anyone see a reason why the Drake L7 Amplifier would not play well with an Icom 756 Pro 2.  Are there issues with keying voltage relays or will I be just fine.   Thoughts would be appreciated.   Thanks Lee NE6C
