"Peter Bent" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> made an utterance to the drakelist gang ---------------------------------------------------------------------- I want to add a note to this: My own experience with Ebay, as a buyer has been mostly positive. By that I mean that I have been pleased with the items I have purchased -- and they have been pretty much as they were described.. except for one item which was much BETTER than described. Having said that, prices are higher AND I have to concede it is the "wild, wild west" on Ebay. One has to read very carefully and ask the seller questions. All things being equal.. I would rather sell to a ham... and since I have some items to sell, that are in good shape, what are the best HAM nets to use?

My ebay experience has been uniformly disappointing. I find the sellers routinely misrepresent their equipment, the prices become ridiculous and the impact on the older gear market has been inflationary. R. Hunter Ellington, Esq.
