I used a foot switch for keying my TR4CW; it made operating much smoother without modifying the radio and without as much of the relay clatter........

Curt -

VOX delay is adjusted with R106, which is selected at final test. It is designed for SSB, as is the rest of the TR-4. You _might_ be able to find a value that is a reasonable compromise over the narrow range of adjustment provided by the VOX GAIN control, but ...

Initial value for R106 is 3.3M. Depending upon how you feel about modifications, you could replace R106 with a pot and mount it on the rear panel.

Good Morning All:

Playing with a nice TR4 here and wondering if there is a way to extend
the delay when using CW mode. I see very little difference from CCW
to CW on the VOX control in CW although it works fine in SSB.
Would like to lengthen the drop out time without messing up the VOX
level control.

Thnks
