It doesn't help that the Drakelist defaults to 'reply to
sender', at least in
my email program. That requires some small effort to hit
the 'Reply to All'
button and edit the 'To:' field appropriately. Something,
I suspect, that many
computer users don't even know that they can do - let
alone how to do it.
I belong to two Drake lists (the other is the Yahoo
list) and both behave differently. This one is as you
describe so that replying to the list only requires clicking
on "Reply All" and editing the To field, the other works as
one would intuitively expect; clicking on "Reply" goes only
to the list. Confusing because one must remember which way
the list works. I belong to several mailing lists, I think
another has this feature but am not sure. There is likely
something in the list settings the owner could use to change
the reply option. IMO it would be a good idea to do so.
