OK, here's an update: Received a timely package from K3ICH containing a couple of transformer cores. Now I have +24V where before I had none. This is progress!
Unfortunately, the receive side is still dead. No S-meter deflection, no audio (other than mechanical noise from the switches). I've already found one electrolytic that was shorted to ground (C1155 on the 2ndIF/audio board), so I'm beginning to wonder if there might be others lurking about.
