1. ) I don't think there were any $1.00 drop-ins available when I made these, and I would be leery of anything that cheap anyway. 2. ) I'm sure that I'm getting exactly what I want this way (see previous comment about the red in the S-Meter). 3. ) Why does anyone build a kit, a construction project, fix up a boatanchor, etc.?
