Steve, The T-4X puts a –30 volts on the INJ line when the XMTR position is selected. That –30 shuts down the R-4A’s premixer V8. In RCVR position the –30 volts is removed, the T-4X’s PTO output is deselected, and the R-4A’s injection is then free to be boss.
