Note, if you are making local source customization, I would strongly recommend 
at least changing the project version (e.g. adding a local revision suffix, for 
example: 1.8.0local1), and quite possibly changing the groupId too.

That way, your local artifacts won't conflict with, or accidentally be replaced 
by, the published DSpace artifacts.
