Yikes, I see what you mean, Andrea. If that is how the Advanced Embargo form is "supposed" to work, then it needs a redesign. It's not at all clear how to use that page. My assumption was that the Advanced page was used as follows: * Select an embargo date and a group * Once selected, the file is embargoed and only accessible to the selected group until the embargo is lifted. (At which point the document accessibility is based on the Collection accessibility settings) However, as you note, it may be that the proper usage is: * Select an embargo date and a group * Once selected, the embargo is applied only to the selected group of users (but the document is still accessible to all other groups immediately). If the latter is how it is supposed to work, then there may not be a "bug" but a usability issue. It would be assuming that the submitter understands how to manually apply the embargoes properly (i.e. that you MUST always set an embargo on the "Anonymous" group or else the document is not going to be embargoed). So, it's a huge usability issue, if this is how the page is supposed to work. At the very least, I feel that there should be an automatic embargo on the "Anonymous" group whenever an embargo is set. I cannot think of any use case where someone would want to set an embargo on a non-Anonymous group while letting anonymous users access the file(s) immediately.

Enable advanced forms (as described above) 2. Start a submission 3. On the "Access" page, add an embargo with a "Administrator" group (set whatever date you want) 4. Comp...
